Somehow this weekend (I’ve pretty much blown today which is when it was supposed to happen), I have every intention of finishing the wonderful The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, first novel in a trilogy by Swedish writer Steig Larsson. The manuscripts for all three were purportedly written for his own pleasure—part of a projected series of ten—and discovered after his death in 2004. The second book in the series, The Girl Who Played With Fire, will be published in this country next summer. It’s already on my Amazon list.
Scandinavian noir, man. It’s cool.
