Those are the words of a native Alaskan, commenting on the Sarah Palin selection. His long, thoughtful post has lots more information than I’ve seen anywhere else, including a thorough, presumably accurate, explication of the “trooper/ex-brother-in-law” story and an accompanying scandal which hasn’t yet hit the radar.
In other words, it’s a Must Read.
Go. I’ll wait.
By the way, word is now out that Palin and Johnny Mac had met only twice before today, so the whole question of “vetting” is pretty much out the window along with the argument about “inexperience.”
The dismissal of those considerations seem a strange decision by the guy who says he puts America First.
Could it be that this was almost literally an overnight decision, a wild desperate leap after the powerful case Obama made against the GOP last night? Would they, could they, be that irresponsible?
Shocker.
We shall see how this goes but I would not be sanguine if I were a Republican. Not that I would be so under any conditions if I were suffering that personality disorder…
A fun fact did come out of all this, though.
Were you aware that Alaska the state is 23 years younger than…John McCain?

As a member of the NRA, I wonder if she favors Glock or Sig Sauer? Go, Sarah, Go! Bye Bye Barak. BTW, nice tits on the Mermaid.

I would like to think, and have in fact have started to, that this selection by McCain is in the same type of Not-Well-Thought-Out-Selection as was the Harriet Myers selection for the Supreme Court position, in which it turned out that she was quite eminently NOT qualified for that spot. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, much work need must yet be done between now and election day. Good post!

Selection, you say? I wrote an article myself with that word in it on Obama and McCain exposing their voting records, their Bush mirroring policies, their criminal advisors, and their “religious” affiliations. If you want to know about Clinton, it’ll inform you too.
