Mr. Robert Davis (currently on vacation and yet still working, whatta guy) and I chose the now infamous New Yorker “Obama cover” as our inspiration for this week at The Dubya Chronicles“and I do think we did a right good job with it. Go see if you agree.
I have, meanwhile, somewhat rethought my original feelings about that cover, essentially for several of the reasons offered in this post and, more to the point, to points made in the links therein to commentary, both textual and artistic, by cartoonists Tom Toles, Tom Tomorrow and Ruben Bolling.
