Jo Stafford died this past week (who knew she was still alive) and Gavin over at Sadly, No! (a Mermaids-recommended blog) posted the video below as a tribute. Stafford was one of the premiere pop singers in the pre-Rock days and to see her holding her own with the great Ella Fitzgerald just seemed charming enough to me to warrant picking it up for posting here.
Besides the performance itself is very cleverly and nicely done and you can even understand the words.
